Waking up!!
How can one define waking up? Is it a experience that we all encounter in the morning or is it much more than that?
To wake up or to be awake can be more than one simple thing.
One can wonder of the nature of our awakening.
Like this Salvador Dali painting: Dream Caused by the Flight of a Bee Around a Pomegranate a Second Before Awakening, do we as individuals wake up due to a sudden explosion of random events, triggered by the slightest touch?
Or is our awakening something more beautiful and majestic. Possibly a beam of golden sunlight seeping into our subconciousness slowing waking us up.
Is our awakening due to a deppressing or traumatic event that we may have contributed to. Or on the other hand due to an event we had no control over.
Thinking differently, what is it that we actually awake to? What do we percieve as reality or our previous realm. Maybe we dont want to wake up in our perception of reality, as individuals possibly we want to wake up in a different realm altogether.
Like this Dali painting, is a surrealist world what we wish to wake up in?
Is the world as we know it not the reality we want to be in?
The dream becoming reality and our reality becoming the dream.
Maybe a digital world is the answer, since its one of the most fastest devoloping worlds in the modern age.
I chose this building since it is the highest place in this area which is near the sea.
On a much larger scale map you can see where abouts it is located.
